Around 500 children from different barangays of Cebu City were treated to delicious food, games, gifts and religious teachings through stories during the Adlaw sa Pasalamat of the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral Parish last January 28, 2023.
The activity, held in line with the celebration of the 500th year of Christianity in the Philippines, was sponsored by 8990 Holdings, Inc.
Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral, in partnership with 8990 Holdings, Inc., organized the feeding program. 8990 employees arranged games and distributed gifts such as, slippers, bags and school supplies for the children at the San Jose Gymnasium along Mabini Street in Cebu City.
Parish volunteers, meanwhile, facilitated the catechism for the kids who went home bringing prizes.
