Always on the lookout for the health and well-being of its employees and their families, 8990 Holdings, Inc. has rolled out vaccine boosters to supplement a full-dose vaccination campaign.
The company began providing additional COVID-19 vaccine shots as boosters for its staff and their qualified dependents as early as October last year.

In Cebu, the additional booster shots were administered to 66 individuals at the Cebu Doctors’ Hospital on the following dates: Oct. 29, Nov. 27, Dec. 6, and Dec. 11 in 2021 and on Jan. 7-8 and Jan. 14 this year.
A total of 28 employees in Iloilo, meanwhile, availed themselves of booster shots at St. Paul’s Hospital last Jan. 14, 2022.

Over 200 employees in Luzon received extra protection against COVID-19 as well, with booster shots given to 47 employees on Nov. 27, 2021 and 165 employees on Jan. 22, 2022.
Booster rollouts are still scheduled for Bacolod, Davao and General Santos.

The undertaking is part of 8990’s goal to protect employees and their families from the ill-effects of COVID-19, especially with the highly transmissible new variant Omicron now in the country.
