Staying true to its sustainable development outlook, 8990 Holdings, Inc. held a tree planting activity participated by several executives and rank and file employees in Barangay Sirao, Cebu City last Saturday.
“Our tree growing activity is our way of showing commitment in taking care of our environment not only for ourselves but for our children’s children,” said Chief Operating Officer Alexander Ace S. Sotto.
Sotto led a group of 50 personnel that planted around 600 narra and tugas seedlings on October 16, 2021.
“Also in attendance were Engr. Pedrito Castaniaga-Assistant General Manager for Planning, Ms. Rosie Fe Pagaran- Assistant General Manager for Sales and Documentation for Pag-Ibig, and Mr. Bhobby B. Nacorda- General Manager for Human Resources and Administrative Services”
Sirao Barangay Chief Flaviano Gabonada Jr. also graced the event that ended around 1 p.m. The participants strictly observed health protocols all throughout the activity.
