The City of Ormoc received with gratitude the donation of Astrazeneca vaccines from 8990 Holdings, Inc. for its COVID-19 vaccination program.
““I would like to thank the 8990 Housing Development Corporation and Deca Homes for the vaccination donation of 1000 doses to the City of Ormoc,” said Mayor Richard Gomez.
Gomez said Ormocanons are blessed to have the company helping the city in the fight against the pandemic.
Gomez personally received the 1,000 vaccine doses during a turnover ceremony at the Ormoc City Hall on December 6, 2021.
He was accompanied by Vice Mayor Leo Carmelo Locsin and City Councilors Atty. Bennet Pongos, Atty. Nolito Quilang, Vince Rama, Perok Rodriguez, Roiland Villasecio, Goito Yrastorza, Bebe Laurente, and Joan Marbie Simbajon.
Representing 8990 were Janese Rose Y. Suplico, Augusto Cesar S. Sotto, Roselier B. Abanes, and Bernadette R. Maglasang.
